Mild Drama Occurred in the Nigerian Senate on the Issue of Acting President
On Tuesday, the peoples Democratic party (PDP) Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe Representing Abia South had raised a motion that there was a "Vacuum in Government" because the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo was not in the country.
However,Kabiru Marafa senator representing Zamfara Central stood to oppose the motion.
He said the Constitution is very clear, If the President is out of the country, the Constitution is clear as to who is the head of government, If the Acting President is out of the country, the Senate President is the next in the line of Succession.
The Senate President, however quickly ruled Senator Marafa "Out of Order."
